FAQ

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: For your convenience, we accept Visa, Discover or MasterCard. (Sorry, no personal checks) All payments can be made through the parent portal.

Q: What is Totally Posh?

A: Totally Posh is a premier, upscale party boutique specializing in party planning for girls ages 5-15. We provide Day Spa Services, Birthday and Celebrations, Play Dates, Tea Parties, Theme Parties, Paint Parties, Graduation Celebrations, and our 3000 sq ft venue can be rented for special occasions. Our retail boutique features girls apparel, shoes, accessories, and kid friendly gourmet bath treats.

Q: What is a Dessert Manicure and Pedicure?

A: We have an in-house Sweets-capes buffet for your hands, toes, and body. Girls get to choose ice cream flavored bath bombs for their hands and toes. We then exfoliate their hands and toes with our decadent sugar scrub and finish off their mani and pedi with sugar icing moisturizer.  Our products are made safe for kids. We do carry some organic bath and body products as well.

Q: What type of nail polish is used during services and parties?

A: We currently use kid-friendly spa products. Please note the nail polish that we use is hypoallergenic, odorless, and non-toxic. Due to the nature of our services and the age of our clients we cannot guarantee how long our polish will last.

Q: Liability

A: Totally Posh and its owners provide a safe and entertaining environment. Totally Posh and its owners, franchisees, and employees assume no responsibility or liability for accidents, allergies related to food items, clothing, make-up, face paint, spa products, illness, injuries to party guests, or property damage while receiving services at Totally Posh.

Q: Who performs the services?

A:  We do not use any chemicals or harsh tools when performing spa services. Our products are kid friendly and services are for entertainment purposes only. Our team is made up of highly skilled and trained party hostesses. All candidates are screened and background checked by our HR department.

Q: What are Totally Posh Mini Celebration Stations?

A: Guest can create their own lip gloss, sugar scrub, or fancy fragrance. Girls can add one of these create your own cosmetics to any of their day spa services or party celebrations. This is a unique craft for girls to personalize.

Q: Are there any rules I should be aware of?

A:  For the privacy of our guests, our staff will let you know when photographs can be taken.

Q: What is needed to book a party?

A:  You can call or contact us online and we will walk you through our simple booking process.  Parties are booked on a first come first serve basis. When a party date and time has been selected, a non-refundable credit card deposit must be paid to Totally Posh Inc. to secure your party date. The deposit amount will be half of the party package depending on your chosen party theme. Your complete party balance must be paid 7 days before arrival to Totally Posh Inc. in the form of credit card. There will be a 5% credit card processing fee added to your bill. (No Personal Checks, No Exceptions) 

Q: Can mom’s or dad’s book a mani or pedi too?

A: On special occasions, moms or dad’s are allowed to book a spa service. Please remember our services are designed for kids and do not include the usage of sharp instruments, blades, or other tools commonly used in adult-tailored manicure pedicures.

Q: Do I need to stay at the party?

A:  The party host is required to stay when booking a party. 

Q: What if I arrive late for my scheduled party?

A:  If a client arrives late for their scheduled party, the remaining time will be honored.

Q: Can I bring food to my party?

A:  Parents are allowed to bring outside food as long as it was store bought from a restaurant or bakery. Party food cannot be prepared from your home due to insurance and liability purposes. To ensure Totally Posh is ready to receive your food delivery, we ask that you email a copy of your food receipt along with your delivery time. 

Q: What if I need to reschedule my party?

A:  Please be advised should the birthday honoree have a medical emergency, her celebration shall be rescheduled to a Wednesday or Thursday evening at no additional charge. If you have to cancel the celebration to reschedule your party date, you must give 72 hours notice, otherwise, your deposit will not transfer to the rescheduled party date. 

Q: What if my child does not want all the services offered in the selected party package?

A:  Parents can select a party package and add additional services from the add-on menu. Either option selected must have a signed contract on file. Any changes must be solidified 7 days prior to the scheduled event. While we will do our best to accommodate last minute changes, we cannot guarantee any changes made less than 7 days prior to the celebration.

Q: What if my child or guests have food allergies

A:  It is your responsibility to inform us if any guests have food allergies. We ask that the parent of the guest provide an alternative refreshment for that child. That refreshment with approval can be brought into Totally Posh Inc.  Totally Posh and its employees and associates are not responsible for allergic reactions or other medical reactions possibly caused by the menu, make-up, hair accessories, or wearing of dress-up clothing.   


Additionally, Totally Posh Inc. assumes no responsibility or liability for any accidents or damages that occur during a party such as staining of skin, hair, or clothing due to the use of any products such as eyeshadow, hairsprays, colored hairsprays, spa products, glitter tattoos, crafting supplies, etc.

Q: How will Totally Posh maintain a healthy safe spa environment?

A:  We will not provide services to guest with contagious diseases or temperatures above 100.4.  We request that parents do not bring their child into the party boutique if they are sick or with a fever. All of our utensils are used once and we dispose of them. Staff members are COVID-19 Barbicide certified, wearing masks, shields, disposable gloves, using sanitizer stations, an enhanced sanitation and disinfectant practices to mitigate risks to ensure a safe spa party experience. 

Q: What if a guest does not show up, do I still pay for that guest?

A:  Our party packages are calculated based upon a group rate depending on the package selected. Discounts will not be given for groups less than the selected group rate. Yes, you will be charged for the final head count given prior to the party. If more guests than expected should arrive,  please understand that we will charge the per person fee for extra guests. Please be aware that we try to be prepared for unexpected guests but there is always the possibility that there may be a shortage of party supplies and/or staff to accommodate unplanned guests. Some guests may not show up even if they RSVP. Please remember you will be charged for the final guest count that was confirmed prior to the party.  If a child does not show up we still use your head count to make preparations for your event.

Q: What do I need to prepare for a party?

A:  Please have all nail polish removed prior to arriving in preparation for manicures and pedicures. Prior to your arrival please ensure all party guest have completed the required parent child activity waiver and photo waiver.

Q: How long do the parties last?

A:  Parties are 2.5 hours. Additional time can be added on to the party by selecting the extra time add-on during the booking process.

Q: What days and times do you hold parties?

A:  Parties are scheduled by appointment only so please check our calendar on our website for available dates and times slots. All parties require a reservation and non-refundable deposit.
